V-RINGS

Rubber seal rings made in a single piece up to 2,100 mm, and joined for larger diameters. They provide a front seal and are ideal for protecting against dirt, dust or water. Can be used as a secondary seal to protect another seal ring.
The V-Ring is a seal that is easy to use and assemble as it is self-retaining on the shaft, which does not require a particular degree of finish and tolerance. The contact area can have a variable roughness from Ra 0.5 to Ra 1.6, depending on the speed and the contaminant to be retained.
It can be used without the use of a metal strap up to a peripheral speed of 10/12 m/sec.
